Joanne Pazmino, KPA CTP

Joanne (Jo) has had experiences with dogs all of her life. She doesn’t remember a time when her family didn’t have a dog and that didn’t change when she moved out on her own. Jo believes that dogs have shaped her life and made her the compassionate person she is today. One dog in particular, a 135lbs white German Shepard named Sparky, gave her a special spot in her heart for large breed dogs which later developed into a love for the misunderstood bully breeds as well. Currently Joanne lives with her husband Rick and their two dogs: Brewer, a Boston Terrier mix, and Bailey, a white Boxer.

Aside from her experience with dogs, Jo also has experience in working with small mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. She grew up with two exotic birds: a Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot named Sam and a Blue & Gold Macaw named Max. She also has had a Sun Conure, a Cockatiel, and a number of Parakeets in her life.

Rescued at the early age of 6 weeks from a not so dog friendly place, Brewer holds a special place in Joanne & her husband Ricks hearts as he was their first dog together.

Too smart for his own good sometimes, Brewer can tippy toe his way into your heart the moment you look into his “old man” gray face. He enjoys cuddling with everyone, taking naps in the sun, and squeaking squeaker toys till they drive you bonkers!

Rescued at the age of 10 wks, she joined the family back in 2014. She is a sensitive and very loving girl. She was diagnosed with generalized anxiety at an early age. We have been able to help her manage and over come many of her insecurities through the use of medication and training. She tends to be nervous around new people, but once she's become familiar with you and feels comfortable, she wants nothing more than for you to share your love and affection. Morgan has helped Joanne continue to learn that when working with dogs that have more severe fear and anxiety issues, sometimes medications are necessary in order for training to be effective.

A member of the family since he was 8 weeks old, Bailey is a one of a kind sensitive guy. He is goofy at times but at the end of the night he just wants to curl up next to you and spend some good quality bonding time.  He also helps to comfort his older brother Brewer who suffers from separation anxiety when Joanne and her husband aren’t home. His soulful eyes can pull you in, in a second and you’ll be lost forever!
